1. Start with an artwork source you can identify
Use artwork you created, commissioned, or licensed for the required ebook, print, audiobook, and promotional uses. Keep the agreement, invoice, source link, license version, artist credit, and any limits with the cover project.
2. Keep every word outside the artwork
Set the title, subtitle, author, series line, spine, and back-cover copy as real typography. The words stay editable for spelling corrections, new editions, translations, and page-count changes.
3. Build the final KDP files from production inputs
Enter the final trim, binding, paper, and page count. Coverfairy calculates the KDP paperback or case-laminate hardcover wrap and keeps the uploaded art available while the front, spine, and back are adjusted.
Current product boundary
Coverfairy does not currently sell a verified built-in no-generative-art library. The live no-AI route depends on artwork supplied by the author with a source and license they have reviewed.
