Your responsibilities

Use only prompts, reference images, names, brands, and likenesses you are entitled to use. Get permission before using a person's likeness. Review every output for accuracy, unwanted similarity, bias, artifacts, and rights concerns before publishing it.

Prohibited content

Do not generate or upload child sexual abuse material; non-consensual intimate imagery; hateful, exploitative, or abusive content; deceptive impersonation; unlawful surveillance or biometric profiling; misleading political persuasion; instructions for wrongdoing; or material that infringes privacy or intellectual-property rights.

Artwork routes and provenance

Coverfairy supports generated directions, customer-supplied original or licensed artwork, and curated starting points. A project can retain source and provider metadata, generation version, edits, and seeds where available. Authors should also keep the applicable license, commission agreement, invoice, source URL, permissions, and disclosure record with the book's production files.

Output limits and disclosure

Generated outputs can be non-unique or inaccurate and may not receive copyright protection in every country. Coverfairy cannot certify originality, non-infringement, award eligibility, cultural accuracy, retailer acceptance, or commercial success. The publisher must review the current rules of each retailer, platform, contract, award, and jurisdiction before release.
