Adapt an editable book cover to a square audiobook layout, check the title and author, and prepare Coverfairy's 2,400 × 2,400 ACX-ready export.
Keep the approved artwork, title, and author connected to the book instead of uploading a flattened print-wrap screenshot.
Move and scale the artwork and typography for a true 1:1 layout; do not add borders around a portrait cover.
Check the visible title, author, square crop, source resolution, RGB output, and 8 MB file limit before delivery.
A watermarked audiobook preview is available while you design. The production ACX square is included in the Launch Kit for that cover project.
Quick answerAn audiobook cover is a true square composition, not a portrait ebook cover surrounded by borders. ACX currently requires at least 2,400 × 2,400 pixels, RGB color, a supported JPG, PNG, or TIF file under 8 MB, and clearly visible title and author names.
Return to the editable artwork and type layers. Extend or reposition the background for a 1:1 canvas, enlarge the focal subject where needed, and rebuild the title hierarchy around the square. A direct center crop can remove the subject or force the title into a narrow strip, while borders added to preserve the portrait are not an acceptable substitute for a square design.
Preserve the title treatment, author identity, dominant color, central motif, and emotional promise so readers recognize the same book. The exact crop and line breaks may change. Audiobook storefront tiles can be small, so simplify supporting copy and check the title and author at thumbnail size instead of preserving every front-cover detail.
Confirm that the credited title and author match the cover, the source contains enough real pixels for the square crop, and the final file uses RGB color and a supported format within the current size limit. Remove barcodes, prices, URLs, watermarks, marketplace logos, physical-media imagery, and references to other audio formats. Recheck ACX's live requirements before submission.
Coverfairy prepares a 2,400 × 2,400 pixel RGB square, matching ACX's current minimum dimensions.
You can reuse the creative system, but recompose the artwork and typography for 1:1 rather than adding borders or blindly cropping the portrait.
You can preview a watermarked square while designing; the production ACX export is part of the Launch Kit for the cover project.
