1. Design the cover in Coverfairy first

Upload or generate artwork, set the real title, subtitle, and author as typography layers, and check the thumbnail. Guests can edit without AI; a free account includes 4 one-time AI image credits.

2. Activate a pass, then download

Both whole-studio passes include Canva-ready files for the front, full print wrap, audiobook square, reveal card, and other formats. Download the file you need while the pass is active and import it into Canva.

3. Choose editable PPTX or exact PDF

The editable PPTX keeps straight text and image elements editable where possible so you can adjust copy and imagery after import. The exact PDF preserves the approved cover pixel-for-pixel. Pick editable for adaptation or exact for fidelity.

Direct Open in Canva is coming soon

The app currently provides the manual Canva-ready download. The direct account connection remains labelled Coming soon until Canva approves the integration.

What stays in Coverfairy

Canva does not calculate a KDP wrap from trim, paper, binding, and final page count. The production PDFs, spine math, preflight checks, and the 2,400 × 2,400 ACX square remain Coverfairy exports. Use the Canva-ready file for social and launch adaptations of the same design.

No. Calculated KDP wraps, print preflight, and the ACX square are produced by Coverfairy from the final trim, binding, paper, and page count. Use Canva for marketing adaptations of the handoff, not for the production PDF.
