The brief

The original demonstration manuscript explains a fictional field-research method. Its structure includes a title page, contents, three parts, chapters, subsections, lists, a note, and an author page. A 6 x 9 trim gives practical nonfiction enough measure for clear hierarchy without compressing the body text.

The Editorial theme uses a restrained sans-led display system with a readable long-form text face. It is a test of information hierarchy, not a claim that every nonfiction category should look the same.

What to inspect

In the PDF, compare part openers, chapter openers, ordinary text pages, list spacing, subhead keeps, folios, and running heads. Confirm that a heading never lands alone and that numbered structures remain easy to scan.

In the EPUB, use the contents to move between parts and chapters, enlarge the type, and inspect list indentation and note links. The semantic order should remain clear when the print layout disappears.

How it was produced

The fixture is generated through Coverfairy's parser, matter composer, paragraph typesetter, PDF writer, EPUB writer, and preflight. The public files are evidence of the current pipeline rather than a separate marketing mockup.
