What the examples prove
A screenshot can conceal missing pages, broken navigation, and a different export engine. Each example here links to an actual output file and records the theme, trim, format, and production checks. The print samples are PDFs with fixed pages; the ebook samples are reflowable EPUBs generated from the same structured manuscript.
The examples use original demonstration text written for testing. No sales result, customer endorsement, or marketplace approval is implied. Their purpose is narrower and verifiable: show what the current formatting engine produces.
How to evaluate them
For PDF, inspect the page dimensions, embedded fonts, chapter openings, body texture, running heads, folios, widows, orphans, and intentionally blank pages. View facing pages and print a few sheets at actual size if you are judging type scale.
For EPUB, run EPUBCheck, open the contents, resize the text, switch themes, follow notes and links, and inspect the book on more than one reading system. A useful formatting decision survives the output, not only the marketing page.
